Carlos Naranjo was born in 1977 (Canary islands, Spain).
He spent his early days in a rock band while performing renaissance and baroque music, so being deeply influenced of classical guitar itself, he started to write classical and rock acoustic music for a new solo project:
MISCELLANEUM was born on ‘97 aprox. to respond those composer´s deepest inquiries related to a classical mood, through acoustic strings, to electric chords.
Results of MISCELLANEUM are melancholical, passional, romantic, dark and yet tender, acoustic architectures in pure fusion with acoustic rock and classical music. So this means a fascinating two faced poetry between dark and light concepts, holding each other through the music.
Carlos Naranjo, the one man project (classical, acoustic & electric guitars. Bass, synth drums, composer and performer), he´s currently studing ‘early plucked strings instruments (Renaissance & Baroque)’ at the ‘Royal Conservatory of Madrid’, while recording new releases for MISCELLANEUM.
