v it's not about digital compression - no matter if you listened to her albums in lossless or a lossy encode - they will always sound very bad whenever and however you listen to them. And things like these fly exactly because people somehow don't notice them - although they are very audible and a huge problem for us who want to actually enjoy music and not distortion which is actually very tiring on ears and takes away so much from the listening experience. By the way, most people can't hear the difference between 320 kbps and 192 (if not less), especially on a well mixed and mastered track.

lol I'm glad I can't hear these things people are talking about. I also can't hear the difference between 320 and 192 and am grateful for it. Sounds frustrating.

vv definitely, it's a shame. On her last album the songs are only moderately reggae/dancehall influenced. Also. I'M FINALLY GETTING TO SEE HER LIVE! Two months to go, can't wait <3

Oh god... just when you think her songs couldn't be produced worse, she releases Negai. It literally clips EVERYWHERE.

I wish she released more reggae songs, or even dancehall. While I really love what she's doing now for the most part, I feel like she's including less and less of those genres.

↓ it always makes me happy when someone new discovers her! when I first discovered Metis I thought she sounded like Shakira, and then I discovered lecca and thought she did too lol. even though they both sound quite different.

I just discovered her and I'm listening to tough Village now. She's really good and her voice is probably the most different voice I've ever heard in the j-pop realm, it even reminds me a bit of Shakira.

Her entire discography is like that and it baffles me how people can't hear it. Damage done to her songs is soul corrupting, really. Textbook example of how not to master albums.

\/ Some songs are clipping... and it's hard to believe that RULE is a professional production (but it's a good song anyway)

v how did mastering ruin it?
