Le Mous is an American ambient, experimental, electronic, soundtrack, hip-hop, folk and lo-fi artist. He was born in Raleigh, NC and now resides in Denver, Colorado. He has lived in various places around the world, including Asia, the UK, the Middle East and the US.
He began making music at the age of 12, on a drum set his parents bought for him on Christmas. When he was 15 years old, he received his first guitar.
He considers himself to be a multi-instrumentalist.
He uses a Taylor 814-CE acoustic/electric guitar, a Cordoba 45-R professional nylon stringed guitar, a BOSS GT-8 guitar effects processor, an EDIROL UA-1EX analog/digital capture device, a Korg Kaosillator and Audio Technica AT2020 USB mic. He records on a 64-bit, x86 laptop and uses a variety of software to mix with, including open-source Audacity.
