Raised between Washington Heights, NY and Harlem,NY exposed Kayser to rich sounds varying from Latin groove, Freestyle, Jazz, and Hip-Hop. Today you can find those genres included in his signature sound. Kayser honed his skill on the streets of the big apple as a battle rapper appearing in ciphers and open mic nights across the tri-state created his legend. In 2008 Kayser released his first E.P. the critically acclaimed “Hater free 2008” which spawned the hits “Move your body/Moviendo cuerpo”, “Hater Hater”, and “Dem Rumors”. The album was split into two themes, ideally reaching both the underground mass that supported Kayser early on but also a commercial crowd who had never heard of him and the combination worked. Since then Kayser has released a slew of mixtapes and one prequel E.P. of outtakes from the “Hater free 2008” which was titled “The prequel” in addition to well over 200 songs. In 2012 Kayser will release the long awaited and heavily delayed album “Alpha and Omega”. You can also check out some of Kayser’s production with his “Instrumental Warfare” mixtape series available for download online.
