Justin Tuijl musician: not for profit, any extra goes to environmental charities. His main desire is to play live gigs anywhere in the world and to help save the planet. He is a British solo experimental musician with influences of dance, rave, psychedelic trance, space rock, psychedelic rock. A blend of styles from life experiences of psychedelic ambient soundscapes his music style covers most areas of music and often incorporates elements of many other styles and sounds. He had always had an overwhelming interest in music. His music output is as varied in styles as his listening taste, you can see why John Peel was his favorite DJ.
Almost none of these tunes are sequenced. They are all live recordings. Loops, samples and effects manipulated in real time to keep the music moving through an ever changing experience from beginning to end. Very much a live performer. A gig is always continuous like a DJ set and each performance is composed for the style of the venue. He is very interested in the visual element with videos for his tunes and video backdrops at gigs. Finding inspiration in trying to help save the planet.
Among the artists he is Inspired by are Richard H Kirk, Gary Numan, Aphex Twin & Kraftwerk, Hawkwind, Ozric Tentacles, psychedelic artists.
