Real, raw, rock, with his unapologetically straightforward lyrics, raw in your face vocals, scorching, gritty yet melodic guitar riffs, and a fearless exploration of diverse musical genres, jsin offers a fresh take on the old traditions of rock, capturing its true spirit.

jsin’s uncompromising commitment to ‘keeping it real’ has already garnered him success. Following the December 2009 release of his debut album ‘Born,’ this Montreal/Toronto native played a packed venue at Canadian Music Week 2010 and saw his first music video ‘Inside’ (directed by M.A.G.) premiere at the 10th annual ReelWorld Film Festival.

jsin’s album ‘Born’ draws from diverse musical genres including electronica, trip hop, punk and pop while staying firmly rooted to the grit, guts, and glory of Guns & Roses style rock. Ever the explorer, jsin worked with producer Vikas Kohli to create an album that refuses to stay within a narrow definition of rock. ‘Inside’ a massive rock anthem complete with cutting guitar riffs and gritty powerful vocals reminiscent of a young Axl Rose clearly establishes jsin’s ability to rock. Conversely, jsin strips everything away for ‘You,’ an intimate track showcasing an emotive vocal performance accompanied by ambient sounds and a single guitar riff played on the sitar.

jsin has played various Toronto venues including The Opera House, Tattoo Rock Parlour, Reverb, Revival and Exhibition Place, always bringing a high energy rock show to his fans. He has also made appearances on TV, radio, and print - namely Bollywood Boulevard, Rogers Daytime TV, ‘And the Beat Goes On’, ANOKHI Magazine, Desi Magazine, South Asian Living Magazine, and CBC’s Masala Mix.
