The band’s birth dates back to the 28th of December of 2003, birthday of the band’s drummer, Costas Nicolaou. During that night, Costas sat on his first drumset, while Panos Doas performed his Guitar and Vocal skills at Costas’s house, acting as his party’s source of music

By January 2004, a bassist was found in the face of Alex Cican. With this lineup the band started playing a few live performances organised by various individuals, as well as at events organised by schools, such as rock nights and talent shows.

Inferno are one of the few Cypriot bands that have been playing original material since their very first show, with songs like “Can’t Deny me” and “Judgement Day” being heard at the band’s first public performance at Club Red.

During September of 2005 though, the band realised that a separate vocalist was gravely needed if the band was to progress. Thus they began a long lasting search for a vocalist. Auditions were held, and after three painfull months, in December, the new vocalist was Neoclis Neocleous.

Since the arrival of Neoclis and with the passing of a year, the band has appeared four times on stage including an event independently organised by the band members themselves.

Years passed by, gigs were held and many efforts to record were made, despite the fact that two members had to perform their army duties and another went to study abroad.

In March 2007 the band suffered a new line-up change, and Andreas Pougioukas became the new frontman of Inferno. Several gigs were held with him and in early 2009 they released their first EP. “Path Of Uncertainty” contains 5 tracks and is available worldwide by paypal.
