Imminent is the alter-ego of rhythmic noise/technoid producer Olivier Moreau, and is the natural continuation of his Imminent Starvation project. This name change was commemorated in 1999 with the destruction of his mixing desk, pieces of which were included with the limited version of “Nord.”

Cask Strenght crowned the last decade of industrial music :) I love it! Though I regret ordering the regular version instead of that pretty wooden box..

... not for me. i only enjoyed three tracks on it. but then, i haven't been as big a fan since he shortened the bandname.

Cask Strenght could be the best rhythmic noise album I've ever heard. At least it's Imminent (Starvation)'s best work so far. Worth the 10 year wait. It's amazing how it simultaneously sounds super-refined AND really uninhibited, raw and in-your-face. Fantastic.

Cask Strength = "technoid atmospherics obliterated via multivarient permutations of destructive percussive sequences". Perhaps the only composer that has spent this kind of time obsessing and exploring percussive soundspace with an "all or nothing" perfectionism. Ant-Zen has complimented the quality of this release with perhaps their best limited edition box set to date.
