hammock district is barry cullen (Belfast, Northern Ireland) and Anne-Sophie Cocault (Rennes, France).

This bunch of recordings tarted with the desire to write some lullabies, music for babies,
which may be a reference to Howie B.

All of these tracks are made of layers of what we called ‘naive melodies’,
which may be a reference to the Talking Heads.

It is hoped that the recordings can be enjoyed in all environments to enhance, or blend with, that locations’ ambience,
which may be a reference to Brian Eno.

The project has been underway since 2005 recording in various dodgy stereo labs.
