Graeme Connors has never been easy to pigeonhole. His music is in a class all of its own.

But one thing that is universally acknowledged is that Graeme is one of Australia ’s finest and most prolific songwriters, and that his music has changed the way we see our country and its people.

Over the past couple of years, Graeme Connors has moved away from the Australian musical landscapes for which he is so well known — songs like “A Little Further North”, “Cyclone Season” and “Let the Canefields Burn” — and headed more into the hidden territory of the heart.

“For me it’s been a straight line — there wasn’t a dramatic change in the music. But I gradually found that writing about emotional places and experiences inspired me more than painting musical pictures of Australia and what it means to be Australian,” Graeme said.
