Gherat was born in the town Annen in the Netherlands. When he moved to Leeuwarden he started to get more and more interested in making music. His first instrument was an organ followed by a guitar. When he started making tunes on the Atari he was blown away with the abilities of making music on computers.
Gherat moved to Amsterdam in 2008. His music is full of self modelled sounds generated with Native Instrument’s Reaktor and his trusty Clavia Modular. Always taking care the sounds are unique, sweet, broken, vague, filtered, warped but many times accompanied by nice laid back melodies and cut-up blended beats…

Cool...found you via the IDM forum...you say you use reacktor and Logic Pro 8...I'm still a novice and looking to start producing a Dubstep and IDM fusion...but just wouldn't know where to start...you're tracks are beautifully crafted.
