New Zealander Dave Edwards’ solo albums fused lo-fi acoustic and electric songs, spoken word and avant-garde improv. More recent works show an instrumental shift from guitar to banjo and woodwinds, and incorporate computer, field recordings from international travel and video projections.

Collaborations include guitar/cello/drums trio The Winter (with Mike Kingston and Simon Sweetman); award-winning 14-piece Ascension Band; and quasi-historical Steampunk Folktronica project. Started in New Plymouth, moved to Wellington 1999, to Melbourne 2005, to Nelson 2006, South Korea 2007 and Europe 2008.

Now using the ID3 tag ’fiffdimension’ to avoid confusion with at least two other musicians by the name of Dave Edwards.
