1.ego death (GR) is an experimental / noise (maybe dark ambient, soundscape or soundtrack at times) one-man-project from Athens, Hellas (Greece). the sounds are created with the use of instruments and software facilities like loops, samples and effects in various combinations. the man behind the sounds had a strong previous experience from the now split up band this is now / death tv. Manos is the man behind ego death.

2.EGO DEATH (CA) is also an experimental/spiritual sonic side project by Calgary musician Noah York of the band manchild. Based on sampling of ambient noises and effected religious instruments such as Tibetan bells, a tonal architecture starts to take place and attempts to abstractly work along side the confines of conventional instrumentation. York Is also a long time dj a and producer in the western Canadian music scene and has done official remixes for You! Say! Party! We! Say! Die! and Ruby Jean and the Thoughtful Bees under the moniker Noah York City.
