DJ Light (real name: Cliff Millender) began DJing in 1999, and shortly after followed with production. After only 10 months, he signed his first single with Nebulous Records(home of Plummet - Damaged). Although the label was bought out shortly after releasing DJ Light’s first single - “Desire”, it had brought along the perfect opportunity for him to make some vital connections in the music industry. Since this release, DJ Light has worked with various labels…including Demulcent Records, Paragon Records, Groove Blue Records, Osmotic Hype, N10CT Records, and Nebulous Records.
He has also worked with many of the rising stars in the dance world such as Christian Rusch, Ryan G, Lunatek, and Icone. Currently, Dj Light works full-time as an audio engineer/producer in his church’s recording studio ( www.soundofmusic.se ) with Swedish film/tv composer and producer Torbjorn Frisk.
DJ Light grew up playing classical piano, guitar, drums, and singing. His trance productions typically combine classical music with trance and dance music for a very euphoric and emotional feel. Although he is typically a trance producer, he has produced breakbeat and drum n bass tracks under other aliases as well.
