Biography

djOD ( pronounced : jawd ) currently belongs to the Canadian Social Contract, taking little comfort in this, he prefers Nihilon no matter where his corporeal husk resides. He is fond of noise and distortion in all of its beautiful forms, djOD seeks to use these powerful tools to mess with your head, making your ears bleed, whilst thine mind recoils in horror.

2009 found djOD working on variable projects of noise orientated works, of which some were compiled into his first net realease Paradoxical Ethereal Invasion, a vicious lossy work of distrortion. Its theme being an impending alien invasion of which there can be no survival. It ranges mainly from dark ambient, to rhythmic noise, and finally glitch.

2010 finds djOD trying to wrap up Once Shined, an analytically dark remixing endevour of classical tracks, primarily featured on “The Shining”… being djOD’s favorite psychological horror flick.
