Creature is four people. Chris began it all in Margate but the band really got together in Brighton: (creature are not a german death metal band but stuff from this band sometimes appears on our page!)

Rosie - keys and laptop
Adam - bass and guitar
Lee - drums and sampler

The Brighton live festival described creature as “…somewhere between Pink Floyd, Radiohead and DJ Shadow’s UNKLE Project”. We think this accurately describes what we are trying to do.

The track ‘Stuff of Science Fiction’ is available on our website. It was downloaded over 5,000 times in the first week of release. Following this success an album was put together.

This evolved into the self produced album; ‘We are in a new world now’ which was completed in the dieing days of 2007. Whilst writing ‘We are in a new world now’ we found we had a set of songs that didn’t fit with the feel of the album. These tracks are more upbeat and use more beats and samples and formed the EP ‘Everything’s broken’ which is also available on lastfm.

Creature have been performing regular gigs in the south east since 2005. The atmospheric shows combine live, visuals with large, dynamic, melancholic and thoughtful music.
