There are apparently at least two bands by the name of Circle of SIlence.

1) One is a dutch apocalyptic, melancholic and melodic metal band born in the late 90’s as a project, but really active since 2005. Circle of Silence is influenced by a great range of bands and the band is always searching for new musical directions.

Circle of Silence demo CD’s, “Nom de Ploum”, “ApocalypsO” and “Fire in the sky” were recorded by Sascha. Circle of Silence released their first demo in full line-up in 2006: The love of my life. The 7 tracks are a mixture of melody, emotion, screaming and a lot of energy. The latest release is I’m out of my mind: OUT OF MY MIND!!! The EP is a collaboration with producer Tommie Bonajo.

At the end of 2010 Wilbert left Circle of Silence. The machine is proud to present Mandy Veldman as new COS member! Her warm voice feels like a blanket over our melodic tunes. We’re about to start a complete new chapter in the history of Circle of Silence!

… to be continued …

Circle of Silence is:

Mandy Veldman (vocals)
Sascha Teschner (guitar)
Brian van der Naald (guitar)
Ralph van Veen (bass)
Harry Hudson (drums)

2)The other one is an underground Power/Speed metal band from Heilbronn, Germany. Founded in early 2005 as a two-man project of Guitarist Tobias Pfahl and Bassplayer Björn Boehm, they were joined by singer Nick, second guitarist Chris and drummer Pit by the time of March 2006.
