Chromix began producing dancefloor-friendly music in 1995 in Cleveland, Ohio. As a techno producer, Tom headlined raves around the midwest and his releases were played by such DJ luminaries as Armin van Buuren and Rob Rage. After experimenting with Game Boy music as part of an art project in 2002, Chromix began writing music on his Game Boy and NES which culminated in the release of Basement to Basement in 2006.
Since moving to New York in 2007 Tom has taken his explosive live show to audiences along the east coast including Blip Festival 2009, Pulsewave, 8static, Cheese’N’Beer, and I/O. He captures the energy of those shows on his releases Drop the Beat Not the Game, 101, and his latest album, Roll Trick, available on CalmDownKidder Records.
New tracks and a back-catalog of releases can be downloaded from his official website, chromixmusic.com.
