A semi lucid band of reggae and electronica lovers teamed up with performance artist Trampingman (aka Mark Mathews) after a chance meeting in a service station off the A40. He was taken to an underground location where studio headz Atom Oil and JPye serve up dub electronica 21st century dancehall riddims with saxophonic overtones from Flow.

Marc Matthews was born in the 1940s in Guyana and is a true legend. His humorous and heartfelt observations on life and its peoples delivered in the Grillot tradition have been slowly melted to the Burn Brothers acidic reggae and dub electronica sensibilities. He was closely involved with the Caribbean Artists Movement, being, along with Linton Kwesi Johnson, one of the most prominent younger poets to come out of CAM. Marc Matthews’s pioneering style was ignited by the resistance style of Poet Michael Smith and writer Evan Jones.
