broken little sister began in Yokohama, Japan in 2005. With its warm and floating textures, their music fuses shoegaze, electronica, ambient, folk and psychedelic music to create their own unique style. They have collaborated with Ulrich Schnauss, Pia Fraus, Sportsday Megaphone and Anderson. Ulrich Schnauss often plays their song called “silence” as a DJ, a song well known to Club AC30 and Sonic Cathedral in UK.

broken little sister aims to spread original sounds from Japan throughout the entire world. Their first full-length album and first physical release “memories, violet & demons” was released on Happy Prince in November 2010.
