Native from France, Boolfight is an alternative rock trio that took advantage of a few years spent in California to mix various influences and create a truly personal sound that is at the same time not scared of being pop. In 2004, the band thus recorded a self-titled EP in San Francisco - some demos had made it to the ears of producers Steve Bradley (No Doubt) and Dave Tweedie of Chocolate O’Brian, who recognized a strong potential.
The single “Been Down”, lifted from this EP, was recently number 10 on Virgin’s billboard in France. Boolfight took this opportunity to tour and performed in several prestigious venues in Europe. Now based in Paris, Boolfight has not decreased its musical creativity: numerous new songs are currently competing to be on the new album that will see the light in the fall of 2006. The band plans on following the release of the album with another tour in 2007.
