Biography
billcarson is a one-man, lo-fi electronic and ambient music project from Waterford City, Ireland. Formed in 2010 by artist Goocha McArdle (Steve) out of pure and utter boredom.
billcarson creates mellow, multi-instrumental electronic and acoustic music while utilising the DIY and underground ethics of punk rock and independent music. All of the sounds found in billcarson’s songs are created by Goocha using a variety of sources. Acoustic and electric guitars can be heard in most songs, along with drum machine and electronic percussion. As of September 2010, billcarson has released two EPs, namely “Demos” and “Artifact EP” on Goocha’s own independent label, Utiini Records. A 6 track album called “Beginning Again” was released in November 2010, and was also released by Italian netlabel, Kill Mommy Records, in January 2011.
