You listen to Japanese artists because you like the music, NOT because they're Japanese? You think J-tags are irrelevant and somehow misleading as it makes Last.fm calculate similar artists that have sometimes nothing in common beside their nationality? For these reasons, you think genre tags should prevail over nationality? Then please consider joining this group: We hate J-tags. Also: We hate the anime tag. Thank you!
Congratulations on achieveing 10,000 plays and 2,000 listeners! Your connection will be moved from Chez Musinum to Chez Platinum and your music will now be featured on both Chez Musinum and Chez Platinum Artist Radios!
I know that, but it's still annoying. Why don't everyone get Foobar? It's the best player anyway. Oh well, if you can't do otherwise, then I can understand that, but some people just don't care and that's really regretful.
They have nothing to do with wrong tagging, the scrobbling application just isn't Unicode compatible. As asupuro said below, there are two options: Get a Unicode compatible player (like foobar2000) or - if you are using an OS which has no Unicode support (mainly Windows 95/98/ME) - romanize or translate the titles.
