Biography

The beginning of 2005. Bent (guitars) and Brent (drums) started jamming together. Influenced by heavy instrumental bands, they began their project, “Scrivener’s Palsy”. In summer Boris (first guitars but later on switched to bass) came to jam with them and it felt just right. They formed a new pact. Alaska Dawn was born. Only a week or so later Koray joined the band (bringing the sound to a new level, by filling the gaps with his keyboard and soundscapes). By keeping it instrumental but with influences such as Isis, Red Sparowes and Godspeed you! black emperor, Alaska Dawn grew out not to be just a project, but a real band.
