They were so underrated here in the states, it's sad. Most people just know them for "Take On Me" over here, but they have SO many good songs, IE this one for example. I have a few of their albums & I'm glad I gave them a further listen as opposed to just the one song that got recognized here. They are brilliant. And his vocals are just phenomenal.

@trusdarcy, agreed, and especially true of Scoundrel Days, which I think is a seriously underrated album.

Out of depression and failure (blue, being blue etc) comes something beautiful and pure (green, new life etc). Quite frankly an amazing song.

This and Take On Me are, imo, A-ha's best tracks. I love listening to this one. Beautiful voice and beautiful song.

It is brilliant song. Sad and touchy. But my lack of knowledge of English makes me ask you help to understand what this song is about and what is meant by "Out of blue comes green"? Can anyone explain please? Thank you!
