2. A very old band formed around 1995/1996 in Timisoara, and entitled Genunea existed and released there demos “Spiritul Razei” (1997 ) , “Noapte Neagra” (1998), “Adierea Toamnei”( 2000) and an album around 2003/2004 never released “Triskelion”.

There were two main members on the first three demos Caerlea – guitars, bass and vocals and Din Neant – drums.

On “Adierea Toamnei” featured also Andrei –guitars, Orlando – bass and Cold – vocals and on the album after Din Neant left the country, moving to Hungry, was recorded solely by Caerlea using a session-drummer, Daipatures.

After the recordings of this material Caerlea tried to promote and to find someone to release this material, but disappointed by the low interest and empty words of the record houses left the scene and the country immigrating to Canada.

There he stared working on a follow-up project called Zurvan, into a more classical approach pagan manner, as re-established connection via-internet with Din Neant, sharing various ideas and thoughts they started working at the debut album entitled “Chipuri in orizontul indepartat”.

Recordings took place in a separate way, in each own home-studio.

Getting in contact with Banatian Darkness this resulted in a deal to release this debut Cd and the whole back-catalogue of Genunea including the never-released “Triskelion” album, as they claim that Zurvan and Genunea are the same blood
