Znowhite were an 80's speed metal band, one of many bands who first appeared on a Metal Massacre album (in this case, Metal Massacre III in 1983). • Whoever decided on the cover of Act of God commited an unforgivable crime against metal. You'd never guess it's such brutal killer record!
  • Awesome female fronted Speed/Thrash metal [3]
  • The speed metal on their EPs is better than Act of God though. Goddamn is that stuff good.
  • Nicole sounds like a female version of young James Hetfield to me. Pretty cool. I will agree with CanIUseThis regarding riffs though. There are some solid riffs on Act of God, but I don't think the whole thing is full of them. There are some dull riffs that rear their heads here and there. It's mostly good stuff though.
  • Amazing band!
  • I guess I'm in the minority that thinks this band is very generic. Some of the riffs are killer, but in a time period of killer riffs, these aren't that memorable. Would probably be better if the album came out a year or two before, but by 1988 this stuff was already dated.
  • found it on my "stars on thrash" sampler from 1988!
  • Nicole Lee has an amazing voice
  • these guys are sick. love them
