Byron Stroud, Gene Hoglan and Jed Simon played in Devin’s band Strapping Young Lad, and Chris Valagao has performed backing Vocals on Devin’s albums Ocean Machine: Biomech, Infinity and Punky Brüster - Cooked on Phonics. Zimmers Hole’s first album featured keyboards by Devin and their second album, Legion of Flames was produced by Devin, and released on his Hevydevy label.

Zimmer's Hole did have a " ' ", including on the original cover-art of their first CD (even if apparently some reissues do use the same picture without the " ' ") as well as theirs logos used in the early 2000s.
