1. Their repertoire, including original material, is inspired by the sophisticated melodies of French Gypsy Jazz, Parisian Musette, Latin American popular songs and American Swing. The six are experienced musicians who have played with numerous fine players and acts around the country among them Baby Gramps, Hanuman, Mummery, Jim Knodle, Pearl Django, Hot Club Sandwich, Sky Cries Mary, the motion picture “The Trouble with Boys and Girls”, The Big Mess Blues band featuring Ragtime Annie in New Orleans at New Orleans Jazz Fest, The Smoke Shack Okiestraw, The Nervous Duane Orchestra, Art and Sex for a Better World’s Erotic Klezmer Cabaret, The Dudley Manlove Quartet, The Jelly Rollers and more. Drawing together a multitude of musical influences and incorporating the driving European “string swing” rhythm, Zazou pays homage to music of the past while creating an original sound that is contemporary and exciting. About Zazou:The members of Zazou are Ryan Hoffman on lead and rhythm guitar, Johnny Calcagno and Jeff Smith on rhythm guitar, Hugh Sutton on accordion and vocals, Ms. Zazou’s Music:Zazou is a sextet featuring accordion, lead and harmony vocals, string bass. drums, and rhythm and lead guitars. Jessica on vocals and string bass, and Joseph Mascorella on drums and percussion.

2. Zazou, born Zazou Mall on 16 february 1985, is a Swiss pop-singer and dancer. She participated in the eight season of Germany’s Pop Idol ‘Deutschland Sucht den Superstar’ in 2011 where she was elminated in the sixth liveshow, becoming the number six of the show. After Deutschland Sucht den Superstar she continued with making music and she released her first digital single ‘Mission’ on April 27, 2012.
