Yukitomo Hamasaki is a Japanese interior designer and sound sculptor based in Tokyo. He was originally part of Philippe Chatelain's Orchestra, an experiment in collective improvisation where a single sound source is manipulated by a group of laptop-wielding musicians. They were awarded for their influential Line Surface Noise installation in 2002.
