Yuji Oniki was born in New York City. He has released three records: Shonen Blue, Orange, and Tvi. His solo work includes collaborations with Doug Gillard (Gem, Guided by Voices), Matthew Smith (Outrageous Cherry), Scott Miller (Game Theory, Loud Family), Sara Lee (Gang of Four, B-52s), and Fernando Kabusacki. He has recently finished his fourth record, Woodstock. He spends his time between New York and Tokyo.
