Yovee

A diamond in the rough is a great way to describe Yovee. Coming from the intense Southern Cal rock scene, they have yet to achieve a following deserving of their unique blend of rock, folk, blues, with a definite slice of punk ambition. They truly have a sound all their own, most sounding as if you had to make an “Cross Country Adventure Soundtrack”. Coincidentally, Yovee received it’s first big break by being featured on the Resting Bird production, “Riding In Vans With Boys” which features the story of Yovee’s sister band Kut U Up on a national tour with rock superstars Blink 182, Green Day, and Jimmy Eat World. Their latest release “Too Far Gone” shows Yovee showing a dynamic audio prowess through their blend of male and female harmonies with piano, drums, strings and acoustic guitars. Veterans of the San Diego rock scene, their unique sound is a rarity which despite it’s commercial success surely has the elements of a great adventure soundtrack.
