Biography
This young duo has been working together since 2005. Over the years, they have released tons of music, crossed many genres, as well as boundaries.
Being that they have always been their own writers and producers, each project shows constant progression.
As “Young Duece”, the two have shared stages with acts such as Mac Miller, Curren$y, Nappy Roots, Afroman, Aer and more. Their work has even been acknowledged by Hip-Hop legends, having been featured on Talib Kweli’s “Blacksmith Community Mixtape” (Hosted by DJ Mick Boogie) and Zion-I’s “The Search and The Seizure” mixtape after AmpLive heard the song made to his remix of Radiohead’s “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi”, which was on his popular Rainydayz Remixes album.
In a span of only four years, the work of this group has been witnessed by millions. More than nine million on YouTube alone. Popular remixes such as Owl City’s “Fireflies”, T-Pain’s “Everybody Else”, Ludacris’ “How Low Can You Go”, Gucci Mane’s “Lemonade”, 50 Cent’s “Do You Think About Me”, Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend” and most viewed, instrumental remix of LMFAO’s “La La La” have allowed the duo to receive large amounts of hits with no professional promotion, management, nor funding. Aside from this, much credit is given to YouTube sensation TimothyDeLaGhetto, for whom they executive produced an entire album entitled “Rush Hour”.
