Dayveonta Lydell Williams (born December 23, 1991) better known by his stage name Young Blade (also known as “Y-Beezy” and “Tha Rottweiler”), is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer signed under his own label, Paper Pusha Entertainment. The label originally featured such artists as Paper Chase, Suave, QB and Pay Bacc, along with himself. Williams was born in Long Beach, California , He spent most of his childhood in Georgia, before relocating back to California at the age of 13. Since elementary school Blade has enjoyed writing poetry, and he began recording in studio's at age 14. Not only could he rap and write his own songs, he could produce as well. He started a group called Tha Crew with his uncle in 2006, that same year they released there debut mix tape word of the streetz vol.1, however after a while, tensions began to rise between the group causing the group to split up.
As a youth, Blade was forced to mature much quicker than his peers. He was constantly faced with new surroundings, new schools, and new sets of friends, and he found it difficult to become attached to anyone outside his family. This life gave Young Blade an opportunity to broaden his mind and offered him many experiences from which to draw inspiration. He began to perceive the world differently than most kids, and he would write his thoughts down every day.
He was originally known as “Lil Blade” which was a childhood nickname given to him by his mother, he later changed the "Lil" to "Young" to state that he was getting older. Over the years, he would move between California, Nevada, and Georgia, giving him a more cultural sense in music. Blade is known for his verbal cleverness, complex rap style, unique voice and the ability to spot great talent. He is currently preparing his debut mix tape which will be under Paper Pusha/ Hood Music Entertainment.
