The two artists teamed up to create the original soundtrack for the anime “Death Note.” The OST is composed by 平野義久(Yoshihisa Hirano) and orchestrated by タニウチヒデキ(Hideki Taniuchi). The Death Note original soundtrack was first released in Japan on December 21, 2006 and was published by VAP.
Almost every song on the Official soundtrack is created by 平野義久(Yoshihisa Hirano) and タニウチヒデキ(Hideki Taniuchi). The TV-sized songs “The WORLD” and “Alumina” (アルミナ) by ナイトメア(Nightmare) are also included on the OST. The music is used as themes for the different characters and events that appear in the anime.
