v That does indeed suck ass (especially since it's Tengo's best and I'd like a vinyl copy of Painful someday as well). @Garry The 7 minute version is the best. In fact it's my favorite Tengo track by a long shot. It's like the 90s condensed into song form and just breathtakingly emotional. The 4 minute version is a fun track, but pales in comparison.

I love this album like a lot. My brand new copy on vinyl has a scratch that makes a part of "From A Motel 6" loop and i'm like fucking depressed now.

The more I listen to this album, the more I love it. When I want to listen to individual Yo La Tengo songs, I usually grab from other albums... but more and more this is what I go to when I want to listen to an entire album. It's just a great mix of songs. I can never decide which version of "Big Day Coming" I like better though... maybe that's why both ended up on the album. =)
