This album rules! An unmitigated heavy metal classic. I love Rising Force, but this album gives Jeff Scott Soto so many more opportunities to shine thanks to the decreased number of instrumentals and songs that have much more identity than the vocal tracks on the debut. He and Yngwie mesh so perfectly to create a near-perfect album to my ears. It's chock full of memorable riffs to go with all the incredible soloing. I think this is Malmsteen's most complete record alongside Magnum Opus, but if I had to choose just one, I'd go with this one.
