Better than The Ladder but not as good as Talk. However, Talk doesn't have any cuts on it as catchy as 'Dangerous (Look In The Light Of What You're Searching For)' or 'The More We Live' either. Basically, this is one of those mixed bag albums that didn't deserve to be as hated as some seem to think. :/

Production and recording-wise, probably one of the biggest clusterfucks ever. Wakeman was quoted saying "the only one who didn't end up playing in the album was my dog." The amount of people involved was beyond ridiculous, but it did work well live.

Saw them on this tour, my first Yes show ever. [2] Not the nadir, jeez. When it came out it was really something to me. I still am very fond of it. Definitely a product of its time but not in a bad way. For example it is WAY better than Roll the Bones. There, I said it. :)

A product of it's time. Yes were always trying to put their own stamp on the music of the age. That's why they remained succesful, gaining new fans with each new trend. Of course it's not Yes of the 70's and I'd put this one below Drama and The Ladder, but I still quite like it.

Not one of their strongest albums and not a masterpiece but has some great tracks. Much like the ABWH album. 'The Ladder' was a much stronger 90s effort I think!

Hard to find. Great album. Yes have evolved into so many different eras of their own invention, so comparing this work "Union" ironically, with other albums may not be appropriate, since it was pieced together.

Ric wakeman said he calls it onion as it brings tears to his eyes! It does have its good moments although I still prefer 'Tales.. or 'Magnification, though
