I used to get mad at my school (No I can't complain) The teachers who taught me weren't cool (No I can't complain) You're holding me down (Oh), turning me round (Oh) Filling me up with your rules (Foolish rules) I've got to admit it's getting better (Better) A little better all the time (It can't get more worse) I have to admit it's getting better (Better) It's getting better since you've been mine

And that guitar solo works quite nicely, It's short and sweet like the "Are You Receiving Me?" and "Life Begins At The Hop" Solos.

Its kinda repetitive but it works so well. One of my favorites, Also I have to say I like the bass parts in the chorus.

Especially love the drums on this one. Really gives the feel of a protest march along with the simple repetitive refrain.

I think this is one of XTC's finiest songs and that's saying a lot considering all the excellent material they've written and produced over twenty years.

Terry Chambers' drumming is incredible here, too.
