The seminal band was begun by schoolmates André Schmechta and Jorg Bohme (also known as Sevren Ni-Arb and Regan Eracs respectively) in 1987 near Münster, Germany. They were originally called Scarecrow, but after leaving their first label with Talla 2XLC to join his new Zoth Ommog label , the band was renamed X-Marks the Pedwalk (the name coming from a short story by sci-fi/fantasy author Fritz Leiber about a future dystopia where vehicular manslaughter is considered a sport).   • i'm appalled at how few listeners the most recent album has. i still haven't given it a proper listening but it seems to be better than Inner Zone Journey which was hit or miss for me.

  • 'The Day I Start To Die' is certainly more subdued. It's a quite different feel of a track. Estefania's vocals are really the finest that I've ever heard them on any XMTP album. A monumental leap forward for her.

  • Yeah, I never got into Santa Hates You, they do seem like a joke and their name bothers me for some reason. I will stick to the amazing Project Pitchfork ^^

  • The new album is indeed phenomenal! I must agree with DJ_Tyrant the production on this album is great as with all their albums.
  • Obviously this is your favorite band and we all have different tastes. For me it was like listening to easy listening electronic music. I need more "oomph" in my music. I will only keep one song from this abum, The side of the wrong was an OK song.
