When I first started listening to X Japan, never in a million years did I think they would reunite, let alone tour in the US. These legends easily sell out giant stadiums and festivals in Japan, so for them to take a step back and play at relatively smaller theaters in an untested market for them, is an absolute honor. There was going to be no way I was going to miss out on their first push into the American music scene. J-rock here is a pretty small niche, so I honestly wasn't sure what kind of turn out there would be. X hasn't even had a proper album release here, so nearly everything is word of mouth. ...I honestly dont understand why someone should have to feel guilty for liking a certain musician. OR be labeled as a certain type of person for listening to one. ...i mean, for example, Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan, and Tokio Hotel... i'm madly in love with all of these artists. Personally, i DONT like Avril Lavigne -- but i love her music. so why should i be accused of being a "poser" for liking her music? (not that i have, but i've seen it happen way too often.) and it really bothers me. Simple Plan -- i dont CARE if everyone in the world hates them (for some SERIOUSLY unknown reason to me), i'll always love that band... same with Tokio Hotel. they're all talented and shouldnt constantly be bashed. ...I visited an artists page on here a while ago and read the shout board, and someone completely flooded it with stuff like "this group sucks" "fans of this band are so gay", etc... and it... bothers me. Like i said at the beginning…
