I want to back up Detroit Soul Jazz down there! I think Paul Cacia, Jon Faddis, Arturo Sandoval are mor brilliant players! Here as far as I am concerned it is the rythm section which ist to be praised and praised again and again!! Bruno Pierre Gebarski, Hamburg, Germany

Brilliant rhythm section: brilliant piano, drums and bass playing! Wynton Marsalis cannot do anything than play well backed up by such rhythm virtuosos!

Well, I think Wynton is a bit overrated, actually. Christian Scott, Roy Hargrove, and other contemporary ones, are much more "fonky" in my opinion.

His rendition of Angel Eyes is one of the most amazing things. The bit where the drums and piano come in halfway through is of the chain!
