Biography

Wouter Bruys is a primarily intrumental artist. He lives in the Netherlands and also takes on the monikers of Geographonic and Wonaldo. Although a lot of his songs have a somber melancholy heavily present, the artist tries to make people happy with the general sound. He uses many different instruments to create his unique sounds like the guitar, melodica, clarinet, harmonica and glockenspiel. He is heavily influenced by Yann Tiersen. He has created a few lyrical compositions and experimented with electro and minimalist style and continues making new music with the intention to accompany short films, movies or documentaries.
This kind of music can be defined as Melancholism.
