As of May, we have no more “feature albums” (wow, a year and 4 months was all it took!), and I will be featuring either all Chrysalis vol. 1 (and #2 when I get to that) songs, or a mixture of those and others.
Woody’s A Girl (Trisha Farnan) is a veritable unknown from Perth, Western Australia, who started playing in 2005. In the years since, WAG has released albums mainly to friends and family. She has received airplay on popular local radio station RTR.FM (92.1) and used to appear occasionally on the program Burning Down the House as a presenter. Her favourite bands/artists include The Smashing Pumpkins, Liz Phair, Veruca Salt, Nirvana, Silversun Pickups and Catherine Wheel, but are in their entirety far too numerous to name. In recent times, WAG has collaborated with American artist Billy Bedard, a.k.a. Rotting Apples. Check out WAG’s album Woody And Friends for some of these songs. Sometime soon, songs by Rotting Apples with vocals by WAG will be available somewhere on the interwebs. Stay tuned for more info!

Why are the selected songs above free to download but there are only 30s previews allowed on the page itself? Would be easier to allow "play direkt from" too, give it a listen and then tag it instead of downloading. Not that I don't appreciate the free download but if you just want to get a impression of the artist the play direct from option in my opinion is the easier way. Best would be surely to allow both ;) Hope you have a nice weekend! Cheers Phil
