Full speed ahead with final overdubs and mixing on over half of the album's songs. Extra parts have been added into "Poppy Seeds", more distorted guitars mixed into the end of "Summer '08", and copious overdubs have joined into the epic "Your Love Won't Change". Hell, just this morning, I completed a guitar solo for "Mission" that I am quite fond of. Mixing has gone rather smoothly, though there's just significant ground that has been, and there still is, to cover.
Discussions have also begun with our manufacturer on the deep specifics of the artwork and overall booklet arrangement. It looks as if we will be pressing 300 copies (same as were pressed for the Woody's a Girl debut), along with a limited run of posters as well.
I feel like a bit of a fire has been lit under me, since our representative told me that in order for us to make our November release date, we only have a little over a month to get everything 100% squared away and shipped off. That includes all remaining overdubs, Trisha's last couple vocal tracks, mixing for all 12 album tracks, and full completion of the artwork. It's doable, but definitely challenging. So, we shall move forward into July, which will probably be our busiest month yet, and fill in all remaining blanks for the Rotting Apples debut record.
