Wolfgang Riechmann (* 19.5.1947, Düsseldorf; † 24.8.1978, Düsseldorf) started his musical career in 1966. After playing in the Düsseldorf band The Spirits of Sound with Michael Rother (Kraftwerk, Neu!, Harmonia) and Wolfgang Flür (Kraftwerk, Yamo) he became member of another Düsseldorf located band called Streetmark releasing the album "Eileen" in 1977.

  • The track Wunderbar was played by DJ Rusty Egan at Blitz in 1979/80 and I'm sure this album directly influenced Visage and British Electro Pop as a whole (particularly those 'soundscape' B-sides from the likes of Ultravox - and perhaps Gary Numan drew influences from the cover image ...)
