    Mega . . . Witchfinder General actually achieved very little during the band's lifetime, with two albums being given a generally poor media reception and live work infrequent. However, the latter day interest in the NWOBHM movement and then the resurgence of Doom Metal has placed a renewed focus on the band

    Plant was a Blues-based-influenced ":HARD ROCK" vocalist as was the blues based HARD ROCK band that was behind him, he was NOT nor is a HEAVY METAL vocalist by any wild stretch of the imagination, talented yes; metal no!!! Even by his own admission!!!, Most metal vocalists derive thier influences from many different varieties of music, so we can can't say one is more influencing than another, that depends on the vocalist!!!!
