Winters Bane

Winters Bane is the starting point for Judas Priest/Iced Earth/Beyond Fear’s vocalist Tim Owens. A traditional Heavy Metal outfit, combining crushing guitar riffs, shredful solo’s, uncompromising drumming, & of course, Tim Owens’ signature piercing wail. It was from their 1993 album, ‘Heart Of A Killer’, that Glenn Tipton & K.K. Downing of Judas Priest decided that Tim Owens would be fit to fill the shoes of the great Rob Halford. One of the forgotten great Heavy Metal bands of the early 1990’s.

You're complaining about the lyrics being corny when you listen to Owl City, Gorgoroth, and Barbra Streisand? What the fuck.

I used to like this when I was younger, but it's so fucking corny. The lyrics seem like they were written by an illiterate child, and the production is hilarious.

I wish Ripper would rejoin Winters Bane, he's known these guys for 20 years and he fits more in this band than in Iced Earth, YJ Malmsteen (who became a sad parody of himself IMO), or Judas Priest. It would surely be awesome with Tim back [3] This is the best thing Ripper has been apart of In my opinion. [3]

Someone put the whole Play My Game-album on youtube and I'm sad to say it's not very good. I was really looking forward to the album.

And by he I refer to Tim if that wasn't already glaringly obvious.

Wow, this is a lot better than what he did with Priest.

Holy shit I just heard these guys. Heart of a Killer is awesome.. mostly due to Ripper. If it's true they're releasing a follow-up with Tim on vocals I've got to buy it.

I do love Heart Of A Killer (song). It's been a long time since I played this band.
