    Yes, indeed one of the blues greats. Also, he wrote the book that would serve as almost a template for 60s rock'n'roll. Animals, Yardbirds, Stones, Doors, Cream, etc.These songs still get covered by rock artists today. WD ls one of the founding fathers of rock--intentionally or not. He lit a flame that still burns.
