Sacramento 4-piece outfit whose blistering sounds are considered to be influential in the development of the post-hardcore scene.

The band started off with a ferocious self-titled EP (which was re-released posthumously), and following that the band made 3 quality albums, ‘El Diablo’, ‘WHVN’ and ‘Carpe Diem’. The title track of the latter was the only single to have a video made which featured Deftones singer Chino Moreno. A live DVD, ‘Foreign Films’, is also available, which features the last gig the band did before the original split, at Capitol Garage, Sacramento in February 2003. On October 12, 2005 Will Haven announced they had officially regrouped.

As of August 2006, Will Haven has signed a record deal with indie label Bieler Bros. Records. One of the demos released on Myspace, ‘Handlebars To Freedom’, will appear on a compilation disc of new Australian label Static Migration Records, however, other demos will not be officially released . On February 19th 2007 Will Haven played a free show at the Troubador in Los Angeles, promising a ‘big announcement’ would be made at the show - namely that singer Grady Avenell had left the band and been replaced by longtime friend of the band (and former vocalist for Red Tape) Jeff Jaworski (the very same Jaworski who inspired Will Haven’s song).
